    Flashlight

    My flashlight does not turn on or charge—Possible cause/solutions:

    A. Before you use or charge the flashlight, please unscrew the tail cap to take the insulating film out from the flashlight and try again.

    B. The tail cap needs to be screwed down tightly. Please try swabbing the contacts in the tail cap with some rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean them.

    C. If the flashlight still cannot be turned on or charged, connect the flashlight to a powered charging cable. If the light turns on while being charged, this means the battery is defective.

    D. If these steps do not work, please contact us and we can try to assist you further.

    My flashlight will not access Turbo mode-- Possible cause/solutions:

    A. When the battery is low (only three or less power indicator lights are on), the flashlight does not have access turbo mode. You need to fully charge the battery.

    B. This flashlight has automatic thermal management. It will automatically decrease the output in order to prevent overheating, and make sure the flashlight body temperature is no more than 131 Fahrenheit degree. When the body temperature gets too high, Turbo mode is restricted.

    My flashlight automatically turns off sometimes-- Possible cause/solutions:

    A. This flashlight has a timer function. The shorter timer lasts 3 minutes; Longer timer lasts 9 minutes.

    Timer Operation: When the light is on, double press the switch and hold it until it flashes, flashing once means shorter timer, flashing twice means longer timer. When the time is over, the flashlight will shut off automatically. Please read the manual carefully to check whether you are entering timer modes correctly.

    B.If you have fully charged your flashlight and it continues to turn off on its own, it may need a new battery.

    The lens of my light was foggy after shooting several times-- Cause/solutions/Prevention:

    Cause: There is a lot of dust and residue from the explosion of gunpowder during shooting. Solution: Please swab the lens with some rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean it.

    Prevention: Coat the lens with something such as Vaseline or Chapstick prior to a range session. After you are done shooting, clean the lens thoroughly.

    How can I make the flashlight enter lockout/ unlock mode?

    How to check if your flashlight is in lockout mode:

    While in lockout mode: if you press and hold the switch for less than one second, the red indicator below the switch will be on for a short time to signal that the light is still in a lockout mode.

    Lockout: When the flashlight is off, press and hold the side switch (for about 2 seconds) to access lockout mode (the flashlight will enter moonlight mode first and will then switch off to signal it is in lockout mode).

    Unlock: To unlock it, press and hold the switch for over one second until the moonlight mode is on again. Release the button and it is now unlocked.

    How to switch between different program configurations?

    Press hard and hold the tail switch while you quickly press the side switch at the same time. When you release tail switch, the configuration will be selected.

    Note: Configuration 1: Half press for Med 1, hard press for Turbo.

    Configuration 2: Half press for Turbo, hard press for Strobe.

    Can I put the light on the charger all the time?

    Generally, after the light gets fully charged, there is only a small amount of current transferring when being connected to the charger, which will not hurt the battery. But we do not recommend always keeping the flashlight connected to the charger.

    Baldr IR

    Why can't I see IR laser?

    IR laser is infrared light, invisible to human eyes.

    What rail is Baldr IR compatible with?

    Designed for Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) and Glock rail, Baldr IR is highly durable and provenly recoil-proof. The GL adapter bar is installed by default for the products of Glock company. If it is installed in Picatinny rail (mil-std-1913 rail) equipment, you can complete the replacement of the adapter bar by yourself. The package contains 1913 adapter strip, screw and screw wrench for installation.

    Why the light mode selection of my flashlight is out of control?

    The light mode selection switch is a magnetic sensitive device. When it is close to the strong magnet, the selection confusion may occur.

    Why does the flashlight turn off suddenly?

    The Baldr IR uses CR123A with a protection board to work, and the output may suddenly shut down due to the battery protection mechanism. (overcurrent protection or undervoltage protection).

    Why does the flashlight start to flicker?

    When the battery is nearly running out, the flashlight will start to flicker, this is normal phenomenon. Please charge your flashlight as soon as possible.

    How to replace the battery for the Baldr IR?

    Pull up the battery compartment cover lock marked "PULL/OPEN" at the end, the battery compartment cover will pop up, take out the old battery, and insert the new battery (note that the battery direction is consistent with the polarity symbol marked in the battery compartment cover), close it battery compartment cover, and finally reset the battery compartment cover lock.

    Why does my flashlight turn dim suddenly, and there is no reaction when I switch the brightness mode?

    When the battery power is low, the LED output is limited to 300 lumens, and a quick double tap (or multiple taps) will not change the brightness.

    Freyr

    What is special about the application of this flashlight?

    The Freyr is a dual-switch flashlight producing both white light and RGB lights. The three colored lights (red, green, blue), combined with a silicone homogenizer, can be easily used on special purposes such as night vision protection, investigation, or signaling. Moreover, the main white light boasts a maximum output of 1,750 lumens and a beam distance of up to 360 meters,which is a real tactical light.

    What have we done based on flashlight safety?

    A light sensor is installed inside the lens. When the flashlight is working in high brightness, if the front of the lamp cap is blocked,which is in order to prevent the flashlight from lighting up automatically in the pocket, and prevent clothes from igniting automatically as temperature is too high, or the opposite strong light source (such as direct sunlight, street lamp, strong light flashlight, automobile headlamp, etc.) which will cause loss of vision, the brightness will automatically decrease. When the obstruction is removed or the opposite light source disappears, the brightness will be automatically restored.

    Why doesn't my flashlight fade automatically?

    Water, dirt or scratches on the lens surface may cause the failure of the internal light sensor. Please keep the lens surface clean.

    Why does the brightness of the white light decrease when it is used with silicone cover?

    When the flashlight is used in conjunction with the silicone cover, the silicone cover will reflect light, causing the light sensor works, so the white light can only work at the low level.

    Why does my flashlight sensor doesn’t work sometimes?

    It depends on the sensing distance. And there are differences in the sensing distance of flashlight due to the different materials and surface colors of the objects (in the range of 3 ~ 50cm). The higher the reflection rate, the farther the sensing distance.

    What’s the difference between side switch and tail switch?

    The side switch can turn on both white light and colored light, but the tail switch can only turn on the white light.

    Is it dangerous to continue using the flashlight when the battery power is going to running out?

    There is no potential risk when the battery energy reduced (the indicator light is orange or red), but the output brightness will weaken. In this state, the light sensor will stop working and the output won’t be decreased due to obstruction or the opposite strong light.

    Obulb

    Can the Obulb be charged with the 1/1.5/2 A charger? Do any other MCC cables work?

    Obulb can only use the designated charging cable MCC 1A , charging with other charging cables may cause abnormal indicator lights. MCC3 and MCA are compatible accessories for Obulb. When you use them to charge, it can be fully charged in two hours. After being fully charged, the indicator light may be abnormal, including the situation where the light does not turn and the light flickers. This situation also indicates that the battery is fully charged.

    Why Obulb has a sound emitted when on? My bulb does it on every mode except low/moonlight. Is that normal?

    This is the sound of an electric current, which can only be heard when it is very quiet. And this is normal, no worries.

    What's special about the appearance design of Obulb?

    The Obulb only measures 2.13inch in diameter and 1.94oz/55g in weight, convenient for one-handed hold and easy to carry around. Also, the product adopts the tumbler design. No matter how it falls, the product will still stand on the ground instead of rolling everywhere.

    Why is the product suitable for various situations?

    Because there 4 modes including warm white light (55 / 3.5 lumens), 7 lumens red light (steady or flashing), good for multiple purposes, such as general illumination, ambience lighting and decoration.

    Why claim Obulb as a companion light?

    Thanks to the magnetic bottom and adhesive metal badge, the Obulb can attach to almost anything at any angle. After fully charged via magnetic charging cable within 2 hours, the built-in 630mAh rechargeable battery allows up to 56 hours of runtime. So it can be used in tons of situations and anytime,which is equal to companion.

    Can the Obulb reach IPX7 waterproof under any circumstances?

    The design of product has reached IPX7 waterproof. It will float on the water during daily use. It is completely waterproof when it is occasionally exposed to water when playing. However, when the product is beaten or fallen violently, it may affect the waterproof performance and cause water damage. It is recommended not to force it to work underwater after it is violently fallen or beaten.

    Javelot turbo

    Why does my flashlight turn dim automatically?

    There are two situations that flashlight will turn dim automatically. The first one is when the temperature is higher than the preset, the brightness will be reduced automatically. Also, If the battery power is low, the brightness will be reduced automatically.

    Are battery packs of javelot turobo and javelot Pro interchangeable?

    Unfortunately they are not.

    What are the advantages of Javelot Turbo comparing with Javelot Pro?

    The beam distance has been furthered from 1080 to 1300 meters. The two 5000mAh 21700 battery pack replaces the previous two 3500mAh 18650 battery,which allows longer runtime. Last but not least, Javelot turbo is more reliable with a magnetic lock tail.

    How do I determine the remaining battery power of the product?

    The indicator at the center of the side switch clearly displays the batter life with a green(>60%), orange(10%~60%), or red color(5%~10%).

    What is the effect of ambient temperature on the use of flashlight?

    When the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the maximum brightness is limited to 500 lm. You can preheat the flashlight to avoid the maximum brightness limitation.

    What is the Brightest Headlamp? /Which Headlamp has the Longest-lasting Battery?

    Are your headlamps waterproof?

    Yes, our headlamps are waterproof (the protection ranges from IPX4-IPX8), please refer to the waterproof details stated in TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS of each product listing page.

    Can the headbands be washed?

    Yes, you can wash it by hand with soft soap but take care never to soak or dump the light part under water.

    Baton 3

    What charger can be used for Baton 3?

    It can be used with both MCC1A and MCC3. However, there is no difference between using MCC3 and MCC1A in terms of charging rate, for charging with MCC3 is also 1A charging.

    Will Baton 3 fit with CR123A?

    Unfortunately, they won’t fit. Please do not put CR123A in Baton 3 and charge it, otherwise there will be a potential risk of explosion.

    What’s the difference between Baton3 and S1RII?

    The Baton 3 is the upgraded version of S1R Baton II. It delivers a huge output of 1,200 lumens, a 20% brightness increase. And the throw ups to 166meters, a 14% increase over the S1R Baton II. Moreover, the runtime of Baton 3 increases, when it is compared with S1R Baton II.

    What do I need to pay attention to when I use the wireless charger?

    Please do not remove the clip of Baton 3 and put the item into the charging box. Because the design of the box is consistent with the shape of the clip. If the clip is removed, Baton 3 may be put in the wrong way in the charging case and difficult to get it out.

    Can I use wireless charger with S1RII?

    S1RII is not compatible with the closing and shutting down function, which cannot be shut down by closing the charging case like Baton 3. It should be shut down instead of turning on when put in the charging case.

    Is the wireless charger waterproof and anti-drop?

    The wireless charger isn’t waterproof but 1-meter shockproof.

    The charging case has a built-in 3500mAh battery, and the battery in Baton 3 is 550mah. Why can the charging case only charge baton 3.7 times?

    When charging, the battery itself will be worn out, so it can only be charged 3.7 times.

    How can I determine how much power is left in the charging case?

    There is an indicator light next to the charging port. The green light indicates that the power is more than 60%, the yellow light indicates that there is still 20% - 60% power, the red light indicates that there is still 10% - 20% power. When the red light flashes, it indicates that the power is less than 10%.

    2. Can I put other batteries from different brand into Baldr Pro and Baldr RL?

    We recommend you avoid doing this and you use Olight batteries in your light so that it can have the output needed to reach the highest setting.

    B. Rechargeable battery

    1. Can I charge Olight’s Customized batteries outside of the flashlight in an external charger?

    No. These batteries have customized ends with dual polarity contacts. This cannot charge safely in an external charger.

    Charger

    1. My charger stopped working, what is going on?

    Please connect the charger to a mental object to see if it turns red. If it is still green, then it seems your charger cord is defective. We provide a 2-year warranty for the charger. If it is under warranty, we will gladly send the new one to you.

    We suggest being sure you are using a good quality 5V 1A or 2A USB power adapter to be sure that the charging cord is getting sufficient current to charge your light effectively.

    2. Why does the PL-MINI2/Baldr mini’s magnetic port repel the charger?

    We would kindly let you know that the charger for pl-mini 2 /Baldr mini is marked as “special”, please make sure you use the right one. The “special” magnetic chargers have reverse polarity to eliminate the chance of using the wrong charger.

    3. The charging indicator led is abnormal / flashing.

    A. When the included MCC connects to low quality USB power adapter, the charging indicator may flash. Please make sure to use a stable and good 5V 1A or 2A power adapter to charge.

    B. When the flashlight is being charge only the MCC charging indicator will light up, the power indicator at the switch will not. When using the flashlight, the output level indicator and power indicator at the switch will light up for 10 second when turning on the flashlight, or after output level and power level is changed.

    Pressure switch

    1. Which lights work with the ROD-7 pressure switch?

    --Warrior x turbo / Odin/Odin Mini

    2. Can I use the RPL-7 with any other lights?

    -- No, the RPL-7 pressure switch only suitable for the PL-PRO.

    3. What lights work with the RWX-07?

    --Warrior X Pro / M2R PRO / Warrior X / M2R / Warrior Mini all work with the RWX-07 switch.

    1. My clip was broken, can I get the replacement?

    -- Unfortunately, the clips are not covered under warranty.

    2. Which clips are interchangeable between models?

    1. The screws in my Odin mount are loose, why?

    -- The screws for the Odin mount could be maxed out and could not be twisted any more. If this is not the case the mount may be defective. Please contact customer service for additional help.

    2. Why can’t I twist the mount for my Odin?

    --We would kindly inform you that if the mount is not pushed to the end, the button lock may be stuck and cannot turn.

    3. Which lights use which mount?

    1.Is there any light that is compatible with a filter on your website?

    MCC 1A Fit PL-Pro/ Seeker 2 pro/ Warrior X / M2R / S1R / S2R / S1R II / S2R II / S30R III / H1R/ H2R/ Array/Perun / Perun Mini. Please kindly use power adapter above 5V/1A for normal use, in case the light indicator may flicker or light cannot be charged.

    The MCC3 is compatible with PL-Pro / Odin / Seeker 2 / Seeker 2 Pro / Warrior X / Warrior X Pro / M2R / M2R Pro / S1R / S2R / S1R II / S2R II / S30R III / Baton Pro / H1R / H2R / Perun. Please kindly use 5V/2A power adapter to reach the maximum charging current of the corresponding model.

    MCC 5V is compatible with Javelot Pro / R50 Pro.
