1. Q: What charger can be used for Perun 2?
A: MCC1A and MCC3 are both compatible.
2. Q: Can the duty patch of Perun mini attach to Perun 2?
A: No, they are not compatible, Perun 2 is way bigger than the patch and Perun mini.
3. Q: Can the proximity sensor be switched off?
A: No, it can't be switched off due to the original design.
4. Q: Can I use a 21700 5000mAh battery for Perun 2?
A: Perun 2 is packed with a 21700 4000mAh battery but it is also compatible with a 21700 5000mAh battery. But please be aware that 21700 4000mAh battery could not be used in the torches that use 21700 5000mAh battery as the sizes are different and probably cause a short circuit.
5. Q: What can I try if it seems to be faulty?
A: Please first try the troubleshooting steps below to see if they could help solve the problem.
1. Please make sure that the insulator has been removed before using the light and the light is not locked, try holding the button over 3 secs to unlock the light if it is locked.
2. Please make sure that the tail cap has been already screwed tight and the battery is on the right direction.
3. Try swabbing the contacts in the tail cap and the surface of the charger with some rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean them.
4. Please ensure that the light has been fully charged, try another cable or battery if possible.

Love the versatility of this headlamp!! Have taken on many a caming trip to have no issues at all. As long as you remember to charge it befor going, you will not run out of light!

bought one for my son and his colleague liked it so much we bought him a Olight Perun 2 Best Headlamp be sure you charge them first before testing them out charge last much longer

I ordered this light at the end of 2020, great light. I can’t say enough about it. It is super bright and built like a tank. You would think this would make it uncomfortable to wear but that is not the case. I forget that I even have it on my head.

I uses it for some months now and found it realy practical. Most of the times I uses it clipped since it does light up in front of what it is clipped to contrary to habitual light configurations. I would have some comments however: I liked to have a 5Ah battery rather than the 4Ah that come with, this gives 25% more runtimes, and I liked to have more precise feedback about battery level similar to Warrior X pro. I needed to buy a 5Ah battery by myself and uses the 4Ah as eventual backup to justify the size difference with the normal Peron that is smaller but comes with a 3.5Ah that deliver similar runtime than Peron 2. And it only vibrates when the battery gets empty(<10%), no proportional indication of remaining runtime like Warrior X pro: Vibrates every 5min(<30%), 1min(<10%), 10sec(<5%) would be nice. It would be also nice to be able to defeat the proximity sensor in some cases. I still like to uses this exceptional light like all my other OLights.

I have bought two lights from Olight. Fisrt was the Seeker 2 Pro which was recommended by ba friend. Once I got the Seeker 2 pro i was amazed with its features, brightness and qaulity. I bought this light to use while on my boat night. After using it, I wanted more! This is where the Perun 2 comes in. The seeker 2 pro is a fantastic light but I wanted something I could utilize hands free while tieing knots at night. The Perun 2 is perfect for this. After reading many reviews I was concerend about the weight while using it as a head lamp. Really dont understand the complaints because when I use it as a head lamp the weight is not a factor. It is absolutely a fantastic head lamp and recently I have found it is very useful at work. The pocket clip is a great feature. So, knots i can either use it at night for tieing fishing or I can takenit out of the head strap and put the pocket clip on for work use. I have contacted Olight and recommended to their design department that if they could come up with a Black light (UV) version of the perun 2 they would sell these lamp crazy. The Perun 2 is a fantastic multifunction light that has many uses and is built with quality. The battery life is even better then the Seeker 2 pro. Thanks Olight for producing a fantastic product. I will definately be watch watching out for the Perun 2 in the black light version. Please give this request some consideration.
