How many changes have happened in a year? Here, you can find the changes Olight has made over one year since the brand promise was released on our 15th anniversary in 2022. Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom to find out who our 100 O-Witnesses worldwide are.
Customer-centered promises drives us to move forward and remind us to continually take your feedback into serious consideration. Based on the 4 quarterly surveys collected from our customers, we are rated 4.54, 4.32, 4.04 and 4.21 respectively out of ten on average in products, customer service, shopping experience, and logistics. We have learned more about ourselves by focusing on these four categories which are essential to your Olight experience.
We would like to thank all of you who have participated in our satisfaction surveys. Hopefully, the yearly review (4/2022 — 3/2023) below can offer you a wider picture of what we have done to meet and exceed your expectations.
What we have committed to: Olight continues to focus on delivering more reliable and innovative lighting products.
What we have done:
1.Kept and improved versions of our classic product series. The Marauder mini, Obulb Pro, Valkyrie Turbo, Baton 3 Pro,etc., were inspiring additions to our classic line-ups with enhanced performances.
2.Continued expanding into new lighting categories. We were proud to launch the dual light source EDC flashlight — the Arkfeld, a multi-use safety light — the Gober, a work light— the Odiance, a 2-in-1 angled foregrip light — the Sigurd, and even more, all to bring you more illumination solutions.
3.Kept the O-designer Program thriving. By listening to and integrating the wonderful suggestions from our fans to improve our products, we successfully launched 9 color variants of our existing and widely-favored products, such as i5R Zombie Green, Baton 3 Zombie Green, Warrior mini 2 Battle Green, and WARRIOR Mini 2 Black Lava.
4.Continued bringing in new materials and seeking manufacturing process innovation. We spearheaded the application of some new materials into flashlights, including magnesium alloy, carbon fiber, etc., and achieved some of the highest quality craftsmanship.
Furthermore, Olight was the first brand to be accredited with the CNAS LABORATORY ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE in the outdoor lighting industry in China and obtained 123 patents regarding product innovation.
To Olight, we always put quality at the forefront when considering creating a new product.
To make our lights your most reliable illumination companions, we have tripled our efforts to improve the quality of our products to new levels. For example, we have focused largely on the quality of batteries used by gradually perfecting our battery inspection process to meet the strictest safety standards. Internally, we upgraded a Quality Management Information System to easily track data during all our processes before an Olight gets into your hands, making it possible to identify and prevent any quality issues from happening.
About Customer Service
What we have committed to: Olight Continues to Provide Excellent Service.
What we have done:
1.In order to provide a better member experience, we have updated the membership system in 2022. The updated membership system added three new levels (Blue/Red/Black Diamond) and three new benefits.
① Yellow Diamond and above members will be able to redeem a Birthday Exclusive Gift in the Preferential Zone during their birthday month with free shipping.
②Blue Diamond and above members can enjoy the benefits of early access to new products at half price and permanent free return shipping.
③Black Diamond members can be awarded a spectacular Black Diamond Exclusive Gift.
2.We have arranged dedicated staff to respond to all customer emails within 24 hours on business days to reduce customer wait times.
3.We enrich and regularly update the products in the Redemption Zone and Exclusive Limited Edition Zone. In addition, we have added the option to redeem vouchers.
4. According to OFans' proposal, we have added some accessories that they wanted, so that OFans can replace themselves to improve the efficiency of solving simple problems.
5. We transferred the After-Sales application to the online website, which is convenient for OFans to follow up on the After-Sale process.
6. We prepared 2 exclusive products: i5R Zombie Green and Warrior Mini 2 Battle Green for the Facebook group in 2022.
7. We prepared the Baton 3 Canadian Version for celebrating Canada Day with our O-fans in July 2022, which gives our fans some surprises. And we are preparing the i1R 2 Pro Canadian Version this year, please stay stunned. In the future, we will also try our best to do more for satisfying your will.
About Shopping Experience
What we have committed to: Olight promises to provide a smooth and delightful shopping experience.
What we have done:
We have been taking measures to improve the shopping experience for our customers, including
1.Refined and optimize the product category to make it more comprehensive, so that customers can find and locate the products they want more quickly.
2.We made the Notify-Me emails available, and we now send emails to remind customers who subscribe to notifications when temporarily out of stock products that they are interested in are replenished the first time.
3.We made a "Shopping list" function to mark products of interest. It makes it easier for customers to find products that they have browsed and are interested in.
4.Mystery boxes returned at a lower price, with different price tiers so more people can enjoy the fun of waiting for a surprise.
5.We offer DIY Bundles, which provides more bundle options, so that customers can freely select the bundled products of their choice.
6.We have improved the richness of blog types and update frequency, and provide customers with richer content, including product reviews, event introduction, knowledge popularization, etc.
7.We have continued to optimize the official website in all aspects. Clicking on the product images can be enlarged to view, livechat is fixed in a more prominent place for customers to seek help, neater corner labels are used in the sales, easier to select and delete products in the shopping cart, the product description pages are more stylized, product reviews can be seen on the PC terminal, etc. We always stand in the customer's perspective to provide a better shopping experience.
Additionally, we were honored to witness a meaningful shopping experience among most of you who participated in the breast cancer charity sale. We donated all of the proceeds —$6491 to the BREAST CANCER SOCIETY OF CANADA . It goes to prove that your purchase of a flashlight can be vital to help those in need. Olight will look for more opportunities to give back to the world, and we look forward to having you with us along this journey.
What we have committed:Olight Strives to Improve Logistics Delivery Efficiency.
What we have done:
We has currently established local warehouses in Toronto and Vancouver. We have made cooperation with corresponding logistics companies, and are constantly striving to allow everyone to receive the goods in a shorter time. We dispatch orders within 2 business day except during flash sale period.
Last year, we received feedback from customers that their packages were damaged, we heard your voice and stopped using the envelopes from warehouses in July, 2022 , and purchased higher quality packaging envelopes to pack our products. Since then the number of broken packages has decreased significantly. We'll always take your requirements into considerations and endeavor to make any of them come true for better shipping experience.
As it is known that we have used Amazon warehouse for a while and we got some nagative feedback about the logistics information. Due to immature technology, parcels sent from Amazon warehouse have always required manual updating of logistics information, which resulting in untimely logistics updates.
We have been continuously communicate with our technical team to optimize the update process and improve the speed and accuracy of logistics information updates. Now you can receive an update on your logistics information within 6 hours after the order being dispatched. Let’s look forward to a better and faster logistic experience together.
